The renovation of Van der Valk Hotel The Hague – Wassenaar is nearing completion! From December 2023, a completely new hotel will be in place, featuring 225 luxury rooms, 14 conference rooms, 2 restaurants, a gastro bar, a bakery, fitness facilities, 280 free parking spaces, and charging stations. Due to its central location on the edge of The Hague, close to highways leading to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Utrecht, as well as the proximity to the forests of Wassenaar, it is the ideal venue for conferences, seminars, or events for up to 350 people.

The hotel has transitioned away from gas and operates, among other things, on 4 heat pumps and 400 solar panels. Which makes this location a very green choice!

Duivenvoorde Castle

Duivenvoorde Castle is situated in a tranquil, rural setting amidst the bustling Randstad, just a stone's throw away from Van der Valk Hotel The Hague - Wassenaar. It is one of the oldest castles in South Holland and is definitely worth a visit. Although the castle has medieval origins, its current style is more seventeenth- and eighteenth-century. Surrounded by a beautiful pond, it offers a splendid view of the park landscaped in the English style. Knowledgeable guides conduct garden tours for visitors every Thursday to Sunday at 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Bike Route: Duinroute Noord

Moreover, there is a beautiful cycle route that passes the Van der Valk hotel. Louwman Museum

The Louwman Museum is also located just a stone's throw away from the Van der Valk hotel. Situated in The Hague, the Louwman Museum is where over 130 years of progress, innovation, and design are visually represented in a unique collection of over 275 masterpieces from the history of the automobile.

The museum houses the privately described unique collection of Dutch car importer Evert Louwman. The museum aims to provide a clear and engaging representation of the automobile's development since 1886—the year the first car was built. Therefore, you'll find both pioneer cars from the late nineteenth century and race cars, sports cars, and luxury limousines.
