The Hague Geothermal Reception

On September 23rd, The Hague Business Agency and The Hague Convention Bureau organized, COVID-proof, "The Hague Geothermal Reception" in Hilton The Hague.

The event was part of a fact-finding trip of the International Geothermal Association, but also the moment to emphasize The Hague's unique position in the field of geothermal energy.

The Hague is positioned as a global knowledge and investment hub in deep geothermal energy. Representatives of the International Geothermal Association (IGA), the DAGO (Dutch Association Geothermal Operators) and other industry organizations and research institutions unanimously agree that The Hague will play a key role in geothermal energy developments in the coming decade.

It was a very successful event, which was well received by the participants, including Alderman Liesbeth van Tongeren.
