125th Anniversary of the City of Peace and Justice
Press tour
This year marks 125 years since the First Hague Peace Conference, a historic gathering that laid the groundwork for international cooperation and conflict resolution and was an important step for what The Hague is called, the International City of Peace and Justice. It resulted in the establishment of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) and marked the first step in the development of the modern means of peaceful dispute resolution offered to the international community.
