For our PR department B2B we are looking for an intern to help our International Media Coordination for the International City of Peace and Justice, The Hague.

As Intern International Media Coordination, you are always looking for newsworthy stories from the city based on the international City of Peace and Justice. Part of this are positive stories and news items about Cybersecurity, Legal & Policy, Impact (energy), the Rule of Law and Humanity.
We are looking for a: PR Intern
The main goal of the PR department is to generate positive media attention about the many different topics in our city. Free publicity about news to foster a favorable image of The Hague, ultimately promoting a better, safer and more just world.
What will your day look like?
- Posting stories on https://storiesofpurpose.thehague.com/ ;
- Finding the best images and videos for the different stories;
- Organizing and coordinating (international) press visits and press tours;
- Writing press releases and reaching out to the rights media;
- Prepare LinkedIn posts about the news;
- Creating clipping reports about the created media attention.
What are we looking for in a candidate?
- Are you interested in Journalism, PR and communications?
- Are you curious and enthusiastic about The Hague?
- Are you fluent in English and preferably also in Dutch?
- Do you enjoy translating your enthusiasm in writing?
Requirements
- Enrolment in a relevant Bachelor’s degree programme (e.g., communications, journalism or similar).
- Available 4–5 days per week.
