Indian IT Company JK Technosoft opens European Headquarters in The Hague
At the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2019 in Bangalore, India, JK Technosoft formally announced the opening of its European headquarters in The Hague. JK Technosoft (JKT), is part of JK Group, globally recognized for its technology innovation, quality solutions and services, and passionate and dedicated people. Local Dutch government officials are excited to welcome JKT to The Hague.
The synergy between JK Technosoft and The Hague
One of the key deciding factors for establishing JKT’s European headquarters in the Netherlands, one of the countries to do international business in, is its a central strategic location, proximity to potential customers, multilingual workforce alongside its knowledge base and ease of doing business. The Netherlands is one of the world’s most technologically progressive countries, and this matches with JKT’s long-term vision. In addition, the fact that there are already several leading Indian IT & Technology companies based in The Hague was a strong argument in favour of choosing the city.
Strategic partners to invest in the Netherlands – THBA and NFIA
The Hague Business Agency (THBA), a Foreign Investment Agency of The Municipality of The Hague, is responsible for attracting foreign investments to the city. THBA has assisted JK Technosoft, by providing an exclusive tailor-made business program, which included a “red carpet” fact-finding trip (FFT) and meetings with local government officials and stakeholders in the IT & Tech ecosystem.
“After deciding on The Netherlands as a destination, the decision to be in The Hague was obvious, since it has precedence of incubating tech companies in an ecosystem where it thrives. Also, The Hague Business Agency provided the initial platform and infrastructure that we wanted. In addition, their delegation visited our office and met quite a few of our management team and hence the choice became obvious.”, says Basudev Pal, Director of JKT Europe.
THBA worked in close collaboration with The Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) office in Delhi, leading to the successful completion of this project. As an operational unit of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, NFIA helps and advises foreign companies in all phases of establishing, rolling out and/or expanding their international activities in the Netherlands. Such activities carried out by THBA and NFIA boost the economy of The Hague as well as the whole Netherlands this way profiting all parties involved.
Scalable impact through The Hague
JK Technosoft’s ambition is to grow to 75-100 people over the next three years, attract local and international talent, as well as to become an example of a successful business venture for other companies, which are part of the JK Group.
