New express bus between The Hague and Keukenhof

31 March 2025

Avoiding the crowded car park, fast and comfortable transport and direct from a to b. This is possible from April thanks to the new express bus from The Hague to Keukenhof.

From next month, there will be new return transport between Rotterdam, The Hague and Keukenhof. This express bus departs daily from the bus platform at The Hague Central Station and drops visitors directly at the entrance to the flower park. This bus service, operated by HopOn HopOff Holland, is a comfortable alternative to the car and faster than public transport.

Wim van Meerveld: ‘From HopOn HopOff Holland, we see an increasing spread of tourism across our country; tourists stay overnight in The Hague and Rotterdam and discover Keukenhof, among other places, from there. Thanks to the bus service, a joint initiative with Keukenhof, this growing group of tourists can discover the world's most beautiful spring park in an easy and more sustainable way.’

Comfortable journey
From 11 April to 11 May 2025, the bus will run back and forth twice a day. From The Hague Central Station, the bus departs at 9.50am and 1.20pm. The return trip from Keukenhof departs at 2.30pm and 7pm. The ride takes 35 minutes.

A ticket costs 44.50 euros, which includes return transport and entrance to Keukenhof. Through a flyer, available at the The Hague Info Store at The Hague Central Station, get a 10 per cent discount on your online booking.

Sustainable choice
The new bus service makes it easier for residents and visitors to visit the world-famous flower park from The Hague. It offers a new, fast and sustainable way to get to Keukenhof; without changing trains, less CO2 emissions compared to car transport, more comfort and with views of the flowering meadows of the Bulb Region along the way.

Keukenhof collaboration
The bus service is an initiative of HopOn HopOff Holland in partnership with Keukenhof. The iconic ornamental garden, known for its colourful tulip meadows, attracts some 1.4 million visitors from all over the world every year. The new bus service is in line with Keukenhof's ambitions to promote sustainable tourism.
