Fun fact: I’m very creative in my head, but as soon as I have to draw, paint or do anything crafty, that talent disappears. Give me one idea and I’ll come up with ten more; give me a paintbrush and it’s a different story.
Is proud of...: My son, without a doubt. And myself, because by never giving up, I’ve achieved a lot and continue to challenge myself.

What do you like most about The Hague?
That you don’t have to choose in The Hague. I love both art and nature, and here they are always close by. One day you can be in a museum, and the next you can be walking through the greenery or getting some fresh air on the beach.
What is your favourite place in The Hague, and why?
The Hofvijver. I love how everything comes together there: art, history and the city as it is today. With the Mauritshuis on one side and the skyline in the background, it feels like a truly typical view of The Hague to me.
It’s Monday morning, 9.00 am. Where do you get your coffee?
Plot twist: I don’t drink coffee! A cup of white tea or ginger tea and I’m ready to start my Monday.
Which business in The Hague should more people know about?
I honestly couldn’t choose just one. There are so many great places in The Hague, from museums and hotels to restaurants and unique activities, all of which help make the city so special.
