Through our marketing and acquisition activities, we stimulate The Hague’s economy and create employment for its residents. The way we do this is by forging connections. We connect new businesses with The Hague, visitors with the city’s attractions, and event planners with local conference venues. And we don’t do this alone: we work closely with colleagues and with our partners to promote the city that we love.
The Hague & Partners is the official marketing and acquisition organization for promoting leisure, conferences, and business developments in The Hague. As a professional non-profit organization, we aim to strengthen the economy of our city and promote employment by attracting (inter)national visitors, conferences, businesses, and institutions to the city.
Our business division, the Business Agency, is focused on helping international companies and Organizations to strategically expand their operations to The Hague region. We assist them by offering tailor-made programmes and services to ensure that these pioneering businesses have a soft landing in The Hague and surrounding areas.
We offer a unique network and experience in the fields of Tech, New Energy, Finance, and NGO & Impact Economy. We work closely with the Municipality of The Hague and with the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) and have an extensive network of service providers, including notaries and experts in legal and tax issues, real estate, recruitment and HR. We are a one-stop shop for international businesses and organisations exploring their options in The Hague.
We are now looking to recruit a Junior Business Advisor (full-time).
As a Junior Business Advisor, you will work alongside our business advisors in different sector and play an important role in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) projects to our region. There will also be opportunities for you to initiate or work on additional projects related to FDI activities. As a junior business advisor, you will contribute with lead generation in different sectors, conversion, and investor relations/account management duties.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the head of business agency and business advisors with daily work in achieving the sales targets in accordance with the mission vision and objectives of The Hague & Partners;
- Preparing presentations and promotional materials;
- Preparation, execution, and follow-up for a wide range of internal and external meetings;
- Maintaining and maximising the qualification of lead generation channels;
- Conducting desk research on potential clients, events and markets;
- CRM system updates;
- Assisting with the collection and updating of information, and preparing for business trips/trade fair participation and related matters;
- Responding to and coordinating general inquiries from potential FDI clients;
- Providing input and support for various reports;
- Helping to prepare for, and being involved in, delegation visits and events.

Requirements
- HBO level, in International Studies, Business Administration or a related field;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and preferably a knowledge of CMS platforms;
- The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, with a hands-on, can-do attitude, an international outlook and entrepreneurial spirit, and of course a love for The Hague;
- Excellent English and Dutch (both spoken and written).

- Appropriate remuneration and fringe benefits (salary indication between € 3340,= and € 4640,= based on a 40-hour workweek, scale 9) in accordance with the Employment Conditions Regulation of TH&P.
- For a full-time position: 26 vacation days and 12 ATV days (additional days off).
