- What do you like most about The Hague?
The Hague offers the perfect mix of culture and history, an international character, a lively city centre and, as an added bonus, the beach and dunes. For me, it’s the perfect balance between Groningen, where I grew up, and London, where I studied.
- What is your favourite place in The Hague, and why?
The Beach Stadium on Scheveningen beach. I met my husband nearby while playing beach volleyball, and we still regularly come here to play a game with friends.
- It’s Monday morning, 9.00 am. Where do you get your coffee?
At home! I pour it into a thermos flask and head to the Haagse Bos for a walk through this beautiful urban forest – and to give the King a little wave while I’m there.
- Which business in The Hague should more people know about?
Greens in the Park. It’s such a lovely place to have a drink or a bite to eat and relax in the beautiful Westbroekpark.
