With great pleasure, we extend our warm invitation to you on behalf of the International Council for Industrial and Applied Mathematics to join us at the 11th ICIAM Congress, taking place from 12 to 17 July 2027 for the first time ever in The Netherlands.

The Netherlands is a relatively safe country to live in. Currently, it ranks 16 on the 2024 World’s Safest Countries. The Hague is one of the safest cities in Europe and of course, in the Netherlands. However, since we are talking about a big city, there will always be small crimes, pickpocketing and other uncomfortable situations. This is circumstantial and the Hague can be considered a very safe destination.
