Across Europe, AI is moving from policy ambition and pilots into public-sector practice. But do public organisations have the capacity to critically and responsibly steer both the technology and the organisational transformation it brings – rather than simply adapt to it?
TU Delft brings together public-sector professionals and partners from across Europe for the European AI4Gov-X Symposium: Building Public-Sector AI Capacity in The Hague.
Discussions include:
- What AI expertise should public organisations retain in-house?
- How should data, AI, policy, legal, procurement, design and oversight professionals work together?
- What does it take to move promising AI pilots into dependable public services?
- And where can professional education strengthen capacity — and where is broader organisational change needed?
Rather than treating AI as a purely technical challenge, we will look at the organisational structures, professional roles, public values and accountability needed to govern and use it responsibly.
Who is it for: Public-sector professionals, researchers and AI4Gov-X partners from across Europe will come together to discuss what governments need to critically and responsibly shape the use of AI and other emerging technologies.
Where: TU Delft Campus The Hague, Spui 5
