The Hague Film Festival returns on 28 November 2026, bringing filmmakers and audiences together at Theater Diligentia in The Hague for a celebration of international cinema, creativity and new talent.This year’s theme, Masked Ball, puts storytelling centre stage: behind every mask is a story waiting to be revealed. The festival provides a platform for both emerging and established filmmakers, with screenings followed by The Hague Film Awards.Filmmakers from the Netherlands and around the world can submit work across seven categories: Feature Film, Short Film, Documentary, Music Video, Animation, Best Foreign Film and Experimental Film.
