The Royal Delft Experience takes you on an inspirational journey through the world of the centuries-old earthenware. A film tells you all about the history and production process and then you can see a craftsmen painting the iconic blue and white decoration. Learn more about the other two icons of Delft: the Dutch Royal Family and Johannes Vermeer in our themed rooms. Admire the collection of antique and modern pieces of Delft Blue earthenware and experience the authentic production process in the factory. In our showroom the complete collection of hand-painted classic and modern Delftware and souvenirs are displayed and can be purchased.
To complete the experience you can join one of our painting workshops and discover the skill needed to be a Royal Delft craftsman. Finally, you can soak up the atmosphere in the brasserie that overlooks the beautiful courtyard garden, whilst having a cup of coffee, high tea or lunch.
Audio tours and guided tours are available daily in various languages. Guided tours must be booked in advance.
